	Gauley Green Rivers of blue and streams of green flow into pools of cream, creating a one of a kind signature glaze.  Gauley Green, a vivid flowing combination of color, is inspired by the pristine rapids of the roaring Gauley River.
	Cranberry Mountain Sunset High in the mountains of West Virginia where crisp air produces fresh colors, we bring you this wonderful combination of Forest, Sky Blue and Cranberry.
	New River Nights Relax under the stars on a warm summer night with our new high gloss purple. The dark transition of forest to purple reflects the beauty of almost heaven West Virginia.
	Forest Green  A Mottled glaze of greens from the woods of West Virginia.  Dark as night and light grass.
	Cobalt Blue A beautiful traditional cobalt blue.  Great for logo and name mugs.  The names really pop.
	Cranberry A Rich Cranberry glaze.  Great for logo and name mugs.  The patterns in our texture pottery really pop under this glaze.
	Purple We like to call this one blue berries and cream.  Dark purple floats over a bed of light blue.

Our hand thrown pottery is hand crafted starting as a ball of clay and thrown on a wheel, no two are exactly the same. Every vessel is handmade and finished on the bottom with a trimmed foot. If you look closely you will find throw lines or possibly a finger print. Our high fired stoneware is made for every day use in modern kitchens and striking enough for display in any home. 

Our Glazes

At Gauley River Pottery we mix our own glazes to get that special one of a kind look. You will not find our signature glaze "Gauley Green" anywhere else. This spectacular glaze is solely inspired by the Gauley River. Gauley Green flows on the pottery like the whitewater rivers so near its place of origin. With rivers and streams of blue and green flowing into pools of cream each piece is unusual and unique but similar enough to make a beautiful dining set with all the accessories.  Over the last decade and half we have developed four combination glazes that we feel capture the beauty of West Virginia.  In addition to these we have them seperated into some lovely solid shades of West Virginia inspired colors.  These are samples of our most popular glazes.

Gauley River Pottery is oven proof, microwave and dishwasher safe. Our fine pottery is of the highest quality in every detail and refined to perfection, we do not sell seconds, dents or dings.
